Recent events have highlighted many of the longstanding, gross and horrific injustices BAME people face both abroad and here in the UK. Here at Labour First, we're keen to promote spaces where BAME members can discuss and organise around the issues facing them both within the Labour Party and the country at large.

We're therefore trying to set up an informal Labour First BAME caucus, where BAME Labour Party members on our mailing list can meet, network and discuss these issues. We're hoping this event will serve as a launchpad for lots of organising and campaigning in these areas going forward. This event will be lead by NEC member Gurinder Singh Josan. Note - this is an event for BAME members only, if you don't self-identify as Black, Asian or an ethnic minority, please don't sign up!
